Providing A Roof
Providing A Roof (PAR) is a co-ed emergency shelter program for youths aged 16-25 years. All youth residing at PAR are assigned a primary worker who assists them in set short/long term goals and in transitioning out of the shelter by securing appropriate housing. The youth may remain at PAR as long as their individual circumstance dictates.

Weekly Supports:
Sanguen Van Stop: Monday Afternoons
From 1:00-1:45, the Sanguen Health Van is onsite to connect youth with harm reduction supplies, naloxone kits, hygiene items, nursing, peer and social supports.
Nurse Onsite: Wednesday Afternoons
Community Health Caring Kitchener-Waterloo (CHCKW) partners with oneROOF Youth Services weekly to provide primary healthcare, illness and disease prevention and health education services.
Food Hampers: Thursday Afternoons
Thanks to our donors and The Food Bank of Waterloo Region, we provide weekly food hampers.
Shelter Times: 9:30pm - 8:15am
NOTE: Beds are assigned as available on a first-come, first-served basis.
