Farewell To Our Fund Developer

After 10 years of dedicated service, we are saying farewell to our beloved Fund Developer & Volunteer Coordinator, Bonnie Kropf. We wish her all the best in her next chapter and thank her for her dedication to oneROOF Youth Services.

A Few Words From Bonnie…

“It is with mixed emotions that I announce my retirement from the Fund Developer & Volunteer Coordinator position at oneROOF Youth Services, effective July 14th, 2024.

Since my introduction to oneROOF in 2013, it has become my passion to support youth who are vulnerable and marginalized. I volunteered at oneROOF for five years before I was fortunate enough to be welcomed as an employee, where I stayed for the next six years — a privilege, honour and life-changing experience.

It has been humbling and incredibly rewarding being involved with all of the changes, challenges and successes at oneROOF Youth Services. I will never forget the admirable mentors and genuine colleagues; the kind, compassionate and generous donors; inspirational community partners, and courageous young people. I will miss all the little things that, in the end, become the start of big things.

I believe in the saying, "when one door closes another door opens.” This is a new adventure; another chapter for both oneROOF Youth Services and for me personally. I plan to enjoy time well spent with family and friends, the great outdoors, attending sporting events, travelling and finishing some long overdue DIY projects.

Thank you for being an unforgettable part of my life's journey. I am truly blessed and grateful for the connections made, the life lessons learned and the knowledge that together, we can make a positive difference in our community.”
