The launch of oneROOF’s first ever line of merch, designed and created by our youth! Online sales begin Monday, May 5th, 2025.
Wednesday Walkathon
Register a team to walk 3-5km in your neighbourhood on Wednesday, May 7th, 2025. Collect sponsors for your team!
Pasta Monday: Special Meal Day!
A youth social with an opportunity to enjoy a big plate of pasta with their favourite fixings.
Mandala Monday: Youth Art
Volunteer lead art class where youth can create designs and artwork in a relaxed setting and discuss their art with other youth and what each piece means to them.
Munchie Meal Dinner: Special Meal Day!
A opportunity to gather and eat a freshly made meal, thanks to the donation from Kat's Kitchen.
Teach Me Something Tuesday: Teach And Learn From Each Other
A volunteer lead event where youth can teach others trivia, a skill or talent or some other knowledge they have. Lead to great discussions and positive interactions among everyone involved.
Youth Messages : Youth Voices & Success Stories
We believe in #BreakingTheSilence by offering the youth we serve an opportunity to share their story. In an online segment we call Youth Voices, our young people are given the chance to anonymously share their journeys, struggles, and success stories. A writing station will be made available for youth to once again put forth their #YouthVoices submissions.
Taco Wednesday: Special Meal Day!
A youth social meal with all the toppings, thanks to our in-house chef.
Tie-Dye Thursday: Youth Art Social
A creative and colourful day of fun! All supplies provided.
Lasagna Dinner: Special Meal Day!
A youth social meal, thanks to the donation from CHAR’D.
Movie Night: Block Buster Movie Night
Youth can enjoy an evening with a blockbuster action movie with buttered popcorn thanks to our youth volunteers.
Coffee Time Friday: Social Get Together!
Next Steps Housing staff will be hosting a relaxed get together for all youth to enjoy coffee, snacks, activities and conversation together.
Games: Classic Board Games
Volunteer hosted fun involving classic board games such as Trouble, Uno, Connect 4 and Chess.
Surprise Meal: Special Meal Day!
Everyone loves a surprise. Curiosity will be the talk at oneROOF as youth will only know the meal as it is being served.
Sports Challenge: Outside Fun
Youth get to show off their basketball, volleyball and football skills with various challenges.
Celebrate Spring, Ice Cream Counter: Special Treat Day
End Youth Week with a sweet treat. Youth can get creative and build the perfect sundae with all the fixings to celebrate warm weather of spring.
